A promise kept
On September 4, 2005, I arrived at the Salt Cathedral with a petition born from the heart. Carlos, my wife's son at the time, was suffering from a type of cancer. Before Our Lady of Guasá I asked for her intercession and promised that, if we received that grace, I would one day create a website in her honor so more people would know her story.
After treatment, Carlos healed completely. The cancer disappeared. For years I kept the internet domain, waiting for the right moment to fulfill that promise. Life presented many obstacles, but I never abandoned that commitment.
Today this site exists as an expression of gratitude, faith, and memory, dedicated to Our Lady of Guasá, to the miners who made this sanctuary possible, and to everyone who arrives seeking hope.
This is my personal story of faith, petition, and gratitude — not a medical claim nor a promise that something similar will happen for everyone. Every person lives their own experience. I share this because I made a promise, and this page is that promise kept.
